A Wicked-Good End to C25K

Hubs and I spent last week in Bar Harbour, ME (or as the locals call it, Ba Ha Ba). The vacation coincided with my final week of the Couch to 5K running program. I considered the change of scenery and lower humidity a little reward for my efforts.

Hubs found a seaside pathway and that’s where I ran my three-milers. Check out this scenery.

Beautiful, yes?

Beautiful, yes? Click on the photo to enlarge it and check out the sailboats.

I highly recommend C25K for folks who are getting back into running following a layoff or who are beginning a running program for the first time. It’s a gentle way to build up mileage. I’m going to hang out at the three-mile distance for a few weeks, then slowly build from there.

I have several other things to tell you about my trip, but they won’t fit into one post of 500 words or less. Stay tuned.

Question: Have you completed C25K? What are your thoughts about the program? Hit me in the comments section.

Thanks for reading!
