Today’s gardening session will have to wait until late this afternoon. I’m off to the gym to do about eight miles on a bike trainer followed by some weight lifting in preparation for an August triathlon. Midday I’ll be at a graduation ceremony for one of my ESL students who has completed the Sew For Hope program. A look out my window tells me I have fallen rose petals to collect, a hydrangea to stake, weeds to pull and bushes to trim. I bet I’ll run out of time before sundown, but there’s time tomorrow after church to indulge in my hobby before another work week begins. In the meantime, here’s what I found in my yard early yesterday morning.
