I processed and over analyzed, I soul-searched, I reviewed triathlon training plans, I reviewed my upcoming work schedule and other commitments. And then…
I registered.
Lord willing and the creek don’t rise, I’ll be doing the Cedars of Lebanon sprint triathlon on May 16. Cedars has two events in one: a co-ed tri and a beginner-friendly women’s event called Girls Tri It On. I chose the beginner friendly women’s event because hey, it’s beginner friendly and it’s part of a women’s race series that includes a 5K/10K race that I work on as part of my fundraising job.
I have six weeks to train. I am using an eight-week training plan so I jumped in a bit late. But I’m training, so that’s good.
