Snapshot Saturday, In New Orleans


Earlier this week hubs had a conference in New Orleans and I got to tag along. The French Quarter is one of my favorite places. No, I don’t do what you have to do to collect beads. I love the Quarter for the architecture and history. My parents took me and my sister there when I was 10 years old. My dad pointed out the wought iron adorning all of the balconies and I was hooked. I’ve visited New Orleans six times as an adult and I never tire of it.

On this trip the conference sponsors treated us to a lovely reception at The Pavillion of the Two Sisters in City Park outside the Quarter. You know I love all things gardening, so being in a botanical garden was a special treat. Here are some shots I took.
