Running the River Walk

Whenever I travel I always pack my running gear. I think the best way to see a city is on foot and I like to mix sightseeing with my morning workout. I’ve run in the French Quarter and along the Mississippi River. I’ve run past the area in Baltimore where the Star Spangled Banner was born. I’ve run in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine. I’ve run under live oak trees in Savanna, Georgia, and amongst blooming cherry blossoms in D.C. And now I can add another favorite to my running diary.

Hubs and I spent last week in San Antonio, TX. Our hotel was on the River Walk. I knew nothing about this beautiful area and when friends told me how much I was going to enjoy it, I refrained from Googling so I could be surprised.

The River Walk did not disappoint and it made for beautiful running. Observe.
