Thowback Thursday: Farewell Hummingbirds

It’s been about two weeks since we’ve seen a hummingbird. That means it’s time to take down the feeders. 😦

Hubs and I have lived in the same house for 27 years. I’ve enjoyed the yard this year more than any other. One reason is this is the first year we’ve spotted hummingbirds. The first was hanging around the canna lilies. Upon seeing it hubs raced to the store to buy a feeder and I looked online to get the sugar-water recipe. Our simple acts rewarded us with a show day after day.

Until next year…
