There’s an ap for that.
I was reading a back issue of Runner’s World magazine and noticed a brief mention for the ap Charity Miles. It’s very simple. Download the ap, create an account, and choose a charity to benefit from the miles you run, walk or bike.
There are a number of participating national charities. I’ll probably throw most of my miles towards the Alzheimer’s Foundation because hubs and I have firsthand knowledge of how that wretched disease affects the whole family. But Charity Miles includes other very worthwhile charities and I’m sure one or more of them will strike a cord with you.
I’m not sure how long Charity Miles has been around. I’m probably late to this party, but better late than never.
Have you heard of Charity Miles? Have you downloaded the ap?
