Yesterday I began Week 5 of the Couch to 5K running program. I continue to find it very do-able and so far I highly recommend it. I just wish Week 4 had more of a rhythm to it. I had become accustomed to a run walk schedule I could remember such as : walk 90 seconds, jog 60 seconds, repeat two more times. Easy, right?
The Week 4 schedule was all over the map. There’s no way I could remember it all. So I came up with a solution.
It’s true what they say here in the South: there’s no problem that can’t be solved with Duct Tape.
Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

I have this app and another one that’s similar which I used 2 summers ago….amazed myself that I was able to run 5K! I am almost to a point of beginning to start off slowly again and so excited. Love the duct tape LoL. I don’t think I will ever be under a 7 minute mile though, let alone 5K.
Oh, I’ll never see a 7 minute mile and don’t aspire to that. I just like being out there with the active community.
Don’t worry a 7 minute mile is not one of my aspirations LoL. Now, completion of a 5K in itself is!
