Snapshot Saturday: Still Life with Hosta

We had a rainy morning here in Nashville, so my training partner, Lynn and I had to take our cycling indoors. I did 11 miles on the Expresso trainer. I’m very much under-trained for next weekend’s 20-miler in Kentucky, but I’m not going to worry about it.

Lynn and I finished our workout at 8 a.m. and I headed immediately to the Middle Tennessee Hosta Society’s annual sale. This was my first experience with this sale. I’ll be back.

My loot, loaded and ready for their new home. I bought three containers of Halcyon and one Blue Monday.

The first peony bloom of the season. This plant originally belonged to my dad. I brought it to my house after his death. Every bloom reminds me of him.
