Just a quick post to share that pounds are continuing to come off during my mileage taper. Of the seven pounds I gained during the high mileage phase of marathon training, only 1.5 remain. One and a half pesky pounds. I feel confident that with super-clean eating, one day at a time, they will be gone by the time I line up for the marathon on September 17.
I’ve just got to remember the “one day at a time” part.
