When it comes to the information shared at Weight Watcher meetings, I must Take What I Want And Leave The Rest.
First, let me again say how much I love the new “Points Plus” food plan. It’s the healthiest program that Weight Watchers has offered, as far as I am aware. Second, let me say that I respect each member’s individual need to “work” the program in the way that is best for them.
Sometimes I hear ideas at a WW meeting that I just have to let go through one ear and out the other. Take today for example. We were each given a small holiday die-cut shape thingy. We were encouraged to write on the shape an “L” an “M” or a “G” based on whether over the next two weeks we want to lose weight, maintain weight or…gasp…gain (a reasonable amount of) weight. I can’t do this. For me, Weight Watchers is a very healthy way of eating that I currently chose to follow. I need the structure day in and day out. If I follow this plan of eating, my body will decide for it’s self whether it Ls, Ms, or Gs. I’m not in control of that.
Weight Watchers is not a magic bullet. It’s just a food plan. It’s one of many tools I use one day at a time to become healthier physically. I have other tools that help me become healthier emotionally and spiritually.
By the way, I lost two pounds, taking my total amount lost to 85.
So what letter will I write on my die-cut shape thingy? I’ll write two letters, actually. F.P. for Food Plan. What can I say? I’m a renegade.
This is a good one and congrats on the extra pounds PB.
Thanks! It feels good to lose pounds slowly and steadily.
So proud for you! lve your coments.Keep them coming. You’re an inspriation……
